What the DCA calculator measures

Enter an amount per period, contribution count, selected price, and fee percentage. The calculator reports total contributed, estimated fees, net contribution, and approximate units at the entered price. It does not predict a future price or return.

Total contributed = amount per period x number of periodsEstimated fees = total contributed x fee percentage / 100Estimated units = net contribution / entered price

Schedule and average-cost limitations

A real DCA schedule buys at multiple prices, so average acquisition cost requires the filled quantity and execution price from each contribution. This simple calculator uses one selected price to estimate units and should not be read as a historical backtest.

More frequent contributions can accumulate more order fees and spread. Automation also needs allocation limits, monitoring, and a stop process; a fixed schedule does not remove drawdown or asset-selection risk.
